A bit about the job:
You’ll be at the heart of our major transformation programmes, leading all Quality Engineering activity across multiple agile teams.
Your work will help us deliver with confidence — setting the programme test strategy, shaping delivery plans, and making sure milestones land when they should.
You’ll lead a blended team of permanent and partner resources, build strong relationships across the programme, and champion a high performance, collaborative culture. Performance, collaborative culture.
You’ll also work hand in hand with our Quality Architects to bring fresh thinking into how we design, plan and deliver testing — helping us innovate while staying aligned to Aviva’s QE Framework. Skills and experience we’re looking for
Strong experience defining and delivering programme level test strategies across large, multiteam environments level test strategies across large, multiteam environments
Proven ability to manage test delivery against complex milestones and schedules
A track record of leading and developing high performing test teams (including partners/suppliers) performing test teams (including partners/suppliers)
Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and articulate quality, risk and progress clearly
Experience embedding quality engineering frameworks, innovation, and continuous improvement into test delivery

Salary: Circa £90000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
