We’re looking for a UAT Test Lead to join our Core Modernisation Programme in our general insurance business on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a key role in delivering high‑quality outcomes for our customers and colleagues.

You’ll take ownership of the testing workstream across key change initiatives, ensuring our solutions are accurate, reliable and aligned to business needs. You’ll work closely with business testers, third‑party partners and cross‑functional teams to design testing approaches, manage defects and keep stakeholders informed throughout delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the UAT workstream for key General Insurance change initiatives, ensuring test activities meet quality, regulatory and business expectations.
  • Analyse GI business requirements and design effective, business‑focused UAT scenarios across policy lifecycle and claims workflows.
  • Co‑ordinate testing across teams, locations and third‑party partners, defining the test approach with stakeholders and supporting strong planning.
  • Manage defects through triage and resolution, providing clear reporting, risks and progress updates to GI stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate testing of GI documentation (policy schedules, endorsements, certificates) and all customer‑facing outputs.

  

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst/ Test Lead in the general insurance industry with strong analytical and test design skills and the ability to translate GI requirements into testable scenarios.
  • Experience testing GI documentation and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr and test automation tools (UFT experience is desirable).
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including VBA scripting, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, influencing skills and advocacy skills.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €60,000 and €65,000 and salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
