Role Overview: 


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to support delivery within the Corporate Solutions Programme. This strategic initiative is focused on transforming our corporate offerings through agile delivery, digital innovation, and operational excellence. The Scrum Master will be responsible for enabling high-performing teams, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 


  • Agile Facilitation 

  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. 

  • Ensure Agile ceremonies are effective and focused on delivery outcomes. 

  • Team Enablement 

  • Coach and support cross-functional teams in Agile practices and principles. 

  • Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment. 

  • Impediment Removal 

  • Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution. 

  • Escalate issues appropriately and work with stakeholders to resolve dependencies. 

  • Delivery Oversight 

  • Track sprint progress, velocity, and team performance metrics. 

  • Ensure alignment with programme goals and timelines. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Programme Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope and priorities. 

  • Support communication between technical and non-technical teams. 

  • Continuous Improvement 

  • Drive retrospectives and implement actionable improvements. 

  • Promote Agile maturity across teams and the wider programme. 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in large-scale Agile programmes. 

  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks. 

  • Experience working with distributed teams and complex stakeholder environments. 

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. 

  • Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent. 

  • Experience in financial services, life assurance would be a strong advantage. 

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery in regulated environments.
