This is a great job for someone who…
…enjoys leading complex data driven products and making sure they deliver real value.
If you love bringing clarity to ambiguity, and are excited by the challenge of shaping customer data for brilliant digital and marketing experiences, you’ll fit right in.
This role is perfect for someone who’s worked across data, tech and customer teams, and wants to step into a position with influence, ownership and a big impact on Aviva’s transformation.
A bit about the job
We’re looking for a Senior Data Product Owner to join our Digital Experience & Marketing workstream Customer & Marketing team, supporting the Aviva/DLG customer data and analytics integration programme.
You’ll lead the vision, roadmap and backlog for our customer data products across tactical, transitional and long-term future states — helping create a consistent, high quality customer data foundation across Aviva and DLG.
You’ll work closely with teams across data, technology, digital and marketing to prioritise what matters most and deliver value incrementally as part of a major integration programme.
Your work will play a key role in unlocking the benefits of the DLG acquisition, supporting better customer journeys, stronger insight and smarter decision making.
You’ll also be a champion for high quality, well governed customer data across the end-to-end value chain.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
Proven leadership in complex product delivery, with experience owning mature roadmaps and driving value led outcomes.
Able to turn ambiguity into clarity, shaping structured deliverables and balancing competing priorities across fast evolving programmes.
A strong understanding of financial services, ideally with experience delivering data led solutions that support operational, regulatory and strategic goals.
Confident applying data principles in line with legal, regulatory and risk requirements, with good awareness of data governance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders across business, data and tech teams.
