Senior Financial Crime Risk Manager
Are you passionate about safeguarding financial systems and ensuring compliance with the highest standards? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Crime Risk Manager to be a key player in our team. This pivotal role involves shaping policies, offering expert advice, and managing financial crime risks, including Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, Bribery & Corruption, Facilitation of Tax Evasion, External Fraud, and Internal Fraud.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial crime risk management policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential financial crime risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead and manage investigations into suspected financial crimes, including reporting to the Gardai, Revenue Commissioners and Regulators as necessary.
- Develop and deliver risk based training to enhance awareness and understanding of financial crime risks among employees.
- Support the preparation of regular reporting to Senior Management, Group and the Board/Board Committees on financial crime.
- Plan, undertake and oversee financial crime related transaction monitoring, testing and assurance activity.
- Identify, assess and support the implementation of new and emerging legislation.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a financial crime or compliance related role within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial crime regulations and industry best practice
- Professional qualification in Financial Crime or Compliance is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Strong communication and advisory skills.
