Senior Governance & Assurance Business Partner – 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary circa £75,000

A bit about the job:
You will join our Customer & Marketing function as we integrate Direct Line’s Digital Experience and Marketing capabilities into Aviva. Your role will ensure that risk and controls are embedded safely, helping us protect customers and deliver our strategic goals.
In this role, you will partner with senior leaders and project teams to identify, assess and manage risks effectively, while supporting a strong and inclusive risk culture. You will be responsible for providing guidance, assurance and insight that helps us meet our risk obligations and operate in line with the Aviva Risk Management Framework.
This work makes a real difference—enabling us to build secure, industry leading digital and marketing capabilities that support exceptional customer experiences.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Detailed understanding of risk management frameworks, risk and control management, and regulations in both a run and change environment within a highly regulated business.
- Ability to provide specialist advice on all aspects of Risk, Control and Governance with confidence in applying and interpreting risk frameworks, controls and good practice guidance.
- Must be able to evidence strong stakeholder management skills at all levels in a challenge and support capacity, with proven ability to work in complex matrix business structure.
- Understanding of Direct Line operational capabilities and processes would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and support an inclusive risk culture.

- Salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
