Senior Governance and Assurance Business Partner

We’re looking for a Senior Governance and Assurance Business Partner to lead risk and control governance across ALPI. This is a strategic role where you’ll shape frameworks, influence executive decisions, and embed a strong risk culture. You’ll sponsor change programmes, drive innovation in risk management, and ensure operational resilience and regulatory compliance. Duties and responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for governance and assurance frameworks, including ORCM.

  • Lead a team of Business Partners to deliver consistent risk management outcomes.

  • Oversee quality assurance plans and ensure compliance with Group standards.

  • Own Board and Executive-level reporting, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Drive collaboration across teams to identify automation opportunities and improve risk insight.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Deep expertise in regulatory compliance within financial services.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of operational risk frameworks and governance methodologies.

  • Ability to interpret complex risk data and provide strategic insights.

  • Proven experience influencing at Executive and Board level.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
