A bit about the job:

This role exists to strengthen business planning and performance insight across our Lloyd’s syndicate. You’ll help shape underwriting decisions by turning data into clear, meaningful analysis that supports strategy and delivery. You’ll join a specialist planning and analytics team working closely with underwriting leaders, finance, actuarial, and claims colleagues. The role focuses on business planning, portfolio performance, and management information. You’ll be accountable for delivering accurate insight that helps the syndicate perform and grow.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience in underwriting performance, planning, actuarial, or finance roles within insurance

• Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability and confidence working with data

• Ability to communicate insight clearly to a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders

• Experience producing management information and performance analysis to support decisions

• Knowledge of the Lloyd’s market or business planning processes, or a strong willingness to learn
