Senior Pricing Data Scientist

As a Senior Pricing Data Scientist, you’ll join a forward-thinking team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and data-led decision making. Your work will help us deliver fair and accurate pricing for our customers, using AI and advanced analytics. From developing machine learning models to creating new rating factors, you’ll play a key role in keeping Aviva ahead of the curve.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Build transparent machine learning models for Motor and Home Insurance.
Develop innovative rating factors for the Irish and UK markets.
Tailor rating approaches for autonomous and electric vehicles.
Create automated optimisers to balance profitability and fairness.
Lead new initiatives through all stages of sign-off and implementation.
Skills & Experiences:
Previous experience working in General Insurance is essential, ideally in Personal Lines.
Good command of SQL/ Python programming.
Confident communicator with the ability to present insights to stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques.
Experience driving change and overcoming resistance to new ways of working.
