Senior Product Owner – Connected Car 

Salary: Circa £90,000 (London) / Circa £75,000 (National)

A bit about the job 

You’ll support our Head of Retail Specialty in developing and delivering Aviva’s Connected Car strategy, helping us move closer to our ambition of being number one in Personal Lines. 

You’ll own and deliver Connected Car initiatives end to end, from transition through to future proposition development. 

Working across Aviva and with external partners, you’ll bring people together to deliver strong commercial outcomes, great customer experiences, and meet regulatory expectations – all while making the most of Connected Car data and technology. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Leading and supporting the By Miles closedown and transition into Aviva 

  • Acting as the Connected Car subject matter expert, shaping and evolving Aviva’s Connected Car strategy 

  • Identifying, testing and scaling new Connected Car propositions across Aviva through proof of concept and testandlearn approaches 

  • Collaborating across teams to unlock value from Connected Car data, supporting multiple business objectives 

  • Setting up and managing thirdparty partnerships to deliver Connected Car solutions 

Skills and experience we’re looking for 

  • Strong understanding of the General Insurance market, including the PCW landscape 

  • Hands-on experience developing or delivering Connected Car or telematics propositions 

  • Up-to-date knowledge of Connected Car trends and best practice 

  • Confidence working in a matrix organisation, influencing and communicating clearly at all levels 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and self-direction
