A bit about the job:

You’ll join our Professional Indemnity team within Aviva’s underwriting business. We manage complex risks and help our customers move forward with confidence. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a high-value portfolio, making key underwriting decisions and setting direction on complex cases. You’ll work closely with brokers, influence strategy, and support the development of underwriting talent across the team. You’ll also play a key role in improving how we work, driving consistency, and delivering profitable, sustainable growth.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience underwriting complex Professional Indemnity risks and managing high-value cases

• Strong market knowledge, with a clear understanding of regulation, trends, and competitor activity

• Proven ability to build and influence senior broker relationships and deliver strong commercial outcomes

• Experience handling complex referrals and leading underwriting decisions

• Confidence mentoring others and contributing to the development of underwriting capability
