Senior Risk Actuary
This is a great job for someone who is a qualified actuary with strong life insurance experience and is ready to take on a high-impact, second line risk role. You may already be working in pricing, product development, financial reporting or risk, and are now looking to step into a position where you can influence strategy, challenge decisions and shape how risk is managed across the business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide independent review and constructive challenge across life insurance activities, ensuring risks are understood, managed and aligned to risk appetite
Lead and support deep-dive reviews across pricing, product governance, insurance risks and reinsurance arrangements
Contribute to key Risk Function deliverables including ORSA, risk reporting and risk opinions
Own and evolve key governance frameworks (e.g. Deal Governance Framework) on behalf of the CRO
Engage with senior stakeholders across pricing, claims, finance and risk to improve decision-making and strengthen risk oversight
Skills & Experience:
Qualified actuary with strong experience in life insurance (e.g. pricing, product development, financial reporting or risk management)
Solid understanding of insurance risk and governance, with the ability to challenge and influence effectively
Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at senior levels
Commercial awareness combined with sound technical actuarial capability
Experience of reinsurance, Solvency II or IFRS is advantageous but not essential
Fitness and Probity
This is a Regulated Role and will be subject to enhanced pre-employment screening procedures. There will be an on-going requirement for the role holder to maintain fit and proper status.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €110,000 and €125,000 and salary offered will be commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
