Service Excellence Lead - Data

Data is critical in the successful delivery of Aviva's strategy, fostering customer focus and growth through actionable insight. As Service Excellence Lead within the Market Data Delivery & Enablement (MDDE) function in IT, you will play an important role in ensuring our data platforms and change delivery are underpinned by high quality processes, reporting and controls. You will support our work engagement, resource management, reporting and communications activity, helping to deliver an excellent service to our data stakeholders.

A bit about the job

  • Lead work engagement processes for the team, liaising with projects and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and with technical teams to translate these into high level solutions and associated estimates.
  • Develop and maintain high quality processes, frameworks and artifacts enabling our development teams to operate efficiently and to deliver at pace.
  • Define and deliver processes and reporting to ensure effective resource and people management across our teams.
  • Work with the team to design and embed regular reporting and high-quality communications to our teams and to our external stakeholders, showcasing our successes and achievements.

  • Good communication skills, confident in leading conversations with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to define and optimise processes, reporting, schedules and supporting artifacts, taking an idea from creation to implementation.
  • Strong organisational capabilities, effectively managing backlogs of work to agreed timelines and outcomes.
  • A desire to continuously improve, working collaboratively across teams, striving for excellence.
  • A strong team player, building effective relationships and offering ideas and support to advance the team.

  • Salary: circa £55,000 based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
