An exciting opportunity for a Strategy Engagement Manager has just become available within the Strategy & Governance team, this individual will have the responsibility for ensuring that the strategic roadmap maximises the potential for ALPI as it transforms, widely leveraging data to inform and enhance ALPI’s strategic decision making, you’ll be operating at both a strategic and a tactical, hands-on level. The role will drive the development, communication and engagement with strategic initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and refinement of long-term strategy, this includes working closely with senior leaders to ensure priority initiatives are well-defined, resourced and executed effectively.  
  • Work with ALPI Executive Committee and Senior Leadership to identify, monitor and report on execution of strategic objectives (company-wide and functional).  Preparing strategic analysis, insights and recommendations to inform decision making.
  • Develop presentations for Board, IWR and Group regarding strategy and collaborate with Head of Proposition team to promote the commercial strategy across ALPI.
  • Pro-actively ensure that all Partners can further strategic engagement across the business annually while engaging with the Communications teams regarding internal communications plans. With the ability to support and collaborate with the People function in development of the Cultural Roadmap.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  • Extensive exposure in corporate development, strategy consulting or a similar field within the insurance sector.
  • Adept in strategic planning and market research with a focus on commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance issues with a Self-starting, highly organised and proven approach in strategic planning and delivery.
