Sustainable Investment Manager - Salary is Competitive

Location - London

You will lead the integration of sustainability considerations into our investment portfolios. This role involves overseeing investment managers and designing innovative solutions that align with our sustainability ambitions; whilst working with the wider investment team to ensure that the portfolio of assets managed by the team meet their investment objectives, maximising the value of the assets while minimising risks.

A bit about the job:

• Lead the incorporation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into DC pension products. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, to conduct thorough research and oversight of investment managers to ensure adherence to sustainability criteria. Ensuring that communication is timely, accurate and effective and that the asset management process is aligned with objectives, address concerns and respond to raised issues.

• Develop and implement sustainable investment strategies and solutions for DC pension products that integrate climate risk and other sustainability considerations.

• Manage the team's workflow (setting priorities, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met), prepare reports and presentations to senior stakeholders, evaluate and monitor performance whilst providing technical and professional guidance, feedback and support to optimise results.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory developments, provide insights and guidance on investment decisions, coordinate and contribute to various projects and initiatives as required.

• Support the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables, enabling us to act in good faith towards customers, avoid causing foreseeable harm and enable and support our customers to pursue their financial objectives.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• In-depth knowledge of DC pension products and market dynamics.

• Proven experience in investment manager research and oversight.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to design and implement innovative sustainable investment solutions.

• Salary is Competitive (depending on skills, experience and qualifications).
