Tax Manager
We’re looking for a Tax Manager to join our Group Tax Team in Dublin and play a key role in delivering high quality tax compliance, reporting and advisory outcomes for our customers, colleagues and wider business.
You’ll take ownership of complex tax activities across Irish corporate tax, VAT and insurance taxes/levies, ensuring our submissions are accurate, timely and fully compliant with regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with Finance, Group Tax and business partners to deliver tax reporting, manage risk, support audits and provide clear, practical tax advice to non‑specialists.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Group Tax team on the management of Irish tax compliance across corporate tax, VAT and insurance taxes/levies, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Prepare and review tax provisions, disclosures and reporting for IFRS and Solvency II, supporting quarterly, half year and annual cycles.
- Provide clear, business focused tax advice on developments impacting Irish entities, helping stakeholders understand risks and requirements.
- Analyse financial data, research tax legislation and support responses to Irish Revenue audits, enquiries and notices.
- Identify tax risks and opportunities, contributing to improvements in efficiency, governance and compliance processes.
- Build strong relationships across Finance and Group Tax, supporting knowledges sharing and acting as an escalation point for junior colleagues.
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, Revenue practice, and insurance‑specific taxes and levies.
- Experience with IFRS accounting (including consolidated accounts) and Solvency II reporting.
- Ability to interpret complex tax developments and communicate them clearly to non‑specialists.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and planning skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Accounting and/or tax qualification (CAI, ACA, ACCA, CTA).
