A bit about the job:

Our Motor Underwriting team helps make sure we offer competitive products that deliver value for customers and strong results for Aviva. You'll manage and develop our Motor portfolio, using data and market insight to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. You'll work closely with trading, pricing, fraud and risk teams to help shape key decisions. You'll also help make sure our products remain compliant, effective and focused on delivering good customer outcomes. Most importantly, you'll play a key role in helping us grow our Motor business with confidence.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience managing insurance portfolios, ideally within personal lines or Motor insurance.

• Strong underwriting knowledge with a track record of improving performance and results.

• Confidence using data and analytical tools to support decision-making. SQL experience would be a bonus.

• Understanding of insurance regulation and experience working within a controlled environment.

• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work across different teams.
