Aviva Ireland are now recruiting for a Permanent Transformation Change manager for our Cherrywood Dublin or our Galway office, where you will lead transformational changes from ideation through to delivery. You will ensure the merit of changes are understood and met while overseeing the delivery and implementation of wider transformation projects.


We’re ideally looking for an accomplished transformation or change management professional coming from an insurance or Financial services environment. We would also consider you if you’re coming from a senior position in the insurance industry with experience working with senior stakeholders. This is not a business analyst position, but it may suit you if you’re coming from a project management background in the financial services industry.

Aviva are in the secondary stages of a major digitisation change program, and while this position does not specifically sit in the digital area, much of your interactions will involve digital teams as you assist and scope proposed business changes for the different product departments. Senior stakeholder management experience and influencing skills are a must.

Responsibilities in detail

  • Oversee the delivery and implementation of transformation projects across ADIL.

  • Identify and manage stakeholders, understanding their needs, and ensuring their support, commitment, and signoffs to change initiatives.

  • Communicate progress, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders through regular updates and reports in a clear and timely manner.

  • Identify potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them throughout the change process.

  • Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders.

  • Design and implement change management processes to minimize resistance and facilitate smooth transitions.

Skills & Experience

  • We’re ideally looking for an accomplished transformation or change management professional coming from an insurance or Financial services environment. We would also consider you if you’re coming from a senior position in the insurance industry with experience working with senior stakeholders.

  • A result driven, self-starter who uses their own initiative to lead and motivate a team to get a job done.

  • Not afraid of uncertainty or not having all the answers but embraces the challenge of learning new things and finding solutions to problems.

  • Great communicator who can take onboard views of stakeholders in the business but is not afraid to challenge the status quo and seeks to find solutions that meet our strategic objective of being the easiest company to do business with

  • Excellent knowledge of our customer journeys, systems, and processes within Direct
