Join our GenAI team and play a handson role in delivering, deploying and monitoring AI solutions that support our Customer Operations and Transformation teams.

A bit about the job: 

You’ll join our General Insurance GenAI delivery team, helping us design, build and support AI and Generative AI applications that power our Customer Operations and Transformation teams.  

Your work will sit at the heart of how we improve experiences for millions of customers — from faster insights to smarter digital journeys.  

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team, where you’ll learn modern engineering practices and help shape the future of intelligent solutions at Aviva. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

• A genuine interest in Generative AI — things like LLMs, prompt engineering or RetrievalAugmented Generation. 

• Some experience in software engineering (Python, APIs, Fast API or similar frameworks). 

• Curiosity about cloud platforms such as Azure and how AI systems run in production. 

• A problemsolving mindset with the ability to turn data into clear, practical insights. 

• A collaborative approach — you enjoy working with others to deliver great outcomes.

• Salary Circa £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications)  

• Bonus opportunity 8% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s
