Senior AI Engineer  

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 

Locations: York, Bristol, Norwich, Perth

A bit about the job: 

You’ll join a dynamic team designing, building, and deploying Generative AI solutions across Aviva. We work with one of the richest insurance datasets in the world, applying modern AI engineering practices from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring. 

You’ll collaborate with solution architects, governance experts, and platform engineers to deliver enterprise-ready AI solutions that are robust, compliant, and impactful. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

• Strong experience with AI frameworks and agentic tools like LangGraph, Crew AI, or Strands 

• Proficiency in AWS and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure-as-code 

• Experience in front-end or full-stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) 

• Ability to work in regulated environments with a focus on security and compliance 

• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-specialists
