ALPI Operational Resilience Lead
We are looking for an Operational Resilience Expert to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This role is crucial in driving and managing Operational Resilience and opportunities within Aviva Ireland Life and Pensions. You will work closely with senior management to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your expertise will support team upskilling and onboarding, and you will play a key role in embedding operational resilience within our business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage operational resilience, ensuring plans are updated and tested regularly while providing experienced advice on resilience strategy and best practices to senior leadership.
- Lead risk and control assessments, ensuring compliance with CBI guidance (CP140) and EU DORA compliance.
- Lead the implementation and improvement of Operational Resilience policies and frameworks to further embed into the business to drive the future resilience agenda.
- Support with testing of Resilience and Recovery plans through scenario testing, including preparation of scenarios, conducting testing, identifying and recording vulnerabilities that require remediation
- Provide critical MI and insightful reporting to Board level on Operational Resilience performance.
- Ensure compliance with Group Operational Resilience business standards and continuously engage with partners and peers across the business, making communication and influencing key aspects of this role.
Skills & Experiences:
- Experience in operational resilience/risk within insurance, banking, or financial services.
- Excellent communication skills guided by a strong analytical approach with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify emerging trends and potential risks and articulate their impact on business performance.
