A bit about the job:
You’ll join the Finance Technology Platform within CIO Group Functions – a team at the heart of Aviva’s Finance Transformation.
We’re responsible for moving and transforming data into a central repository, enabling accurate regulatory reporting and supporting both operational and analytical functions.
As a BI Developer, you’ll design and build dashboards and reports using Qlik, Business Objects, and Power BI.
You’ll also help optimise BI processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and support business self-service through effective data visualisation.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong experience with relational databases, data architecture, data modelling, and data warehouse concepts
Hands-on knowledge of tools and languages like Business Objects, Qlik Sense, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or VBA
A keen eye for visual analytics best practices
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Great communication skills – able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience
