Senior DevOps Engineer 

Salary: Circa £70,000

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the development and optimisation of our AI/ML infrastructure platforms, enabling scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions across the organisation. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining cloud-based platforms that support advanced analytics, underwriting, pricing, and fraud detection capabilities. Working across AWS and Azure, you will ensure high performance, reliability, and governance of our strategic AI/ML toolsets.

This role will also drive DevOps maturity, standardisation, and automation across engineering practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technical roadmaps and support enterprise-wide data and AI strategy.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including designing and managing scalable infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of DevOps, MLOps, and AIOps practices, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
  • Proven experience building and optimising CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
  • Expertise in containerisation and serverless technologies (e.g., Kubernetes/EKS, AWS Lambda)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Python, YAML, JSON, PowerShell)

  • Salary circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
