Aviva’s Personal Lines Business Intelligence (PLBI) team is growing, and we’re looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join us.
You’ll help shape how insight is delivered across Personal Lines, using a modern BI stack and exploring the potential of AI‑enabled BI.

A bit about the job
You’ll be part of a collaborative BI team that builds dashboards and insight products used every day to support decision‑making across Personal Lines.
The role combines hands‑on BI development with close stakeholder engagement, making sure insight is easy to access, trusted, and adds real value.
You’ll work with BI developers, BI engineers and business stakeholders to modernise our BI platforms, improve data quality, and support the move from legacy reporting to a cloud‑based BI stack.
What you’ll be doing
Designing, building and enhancing self‑serve dashboards using Qlik and Power BI
Exploring and combining data using SQL in Snowflake to uncover insight
Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, prioritise enhancements and maximise value
Applying best practice across BI engineering, dashboard design, governance and documentation
Supporting the transition from legacy BI tools to modern, cloud‑based platforms
Skills and experience we’re looking for
- Required - Experience designing and delivering self‑serve BI dashboards (Qlik Sense preferred; other BI tools welcome)
- Required - Solid SQL skills for data exploration and transformation
- Preferred - Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders
- Preferred - Experience working with data governance and data quality standards
- Preferred - Familiarity with Agile ways of working and version control tools such as Azure DevOps
