Business Manager (Chief of Staff)

This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate your career by working closely with the C-suite in a leading life insurance company. We’re looking for a Business Manager to support the Aviva Life CEO and Executive Committee (ExCo). In this role, you’ll help deliver our strategic roadmap, optimise performance, and manage key projects and stakeholder relationships. If you’re highly organised, commercially aware, and ready to make an impact at senior level, we’d love to hear from you.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO and ExCo in delivering Aviva Life’s strategic ambition and roadmap.
  • Manage ExCo meetings, including agenda planning, pack preparation, and action tracking.
  • Prepare and review reports, analysis, and Board papers to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Lead or contribute to key operational and strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Champion customer initiatives and embed a customer-first approach in business plans.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic awareness and ability to analyse complex information.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results under pressure.
  • Actuarial, CFA or similar professional qualification advantageous.
