Capacity Planning Lead – Salary £45,000 (depending on location, skill, and experience)

Closing date: 13th March 2026

Do you love turning complex data into simple, powerful insight? Are you someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving problems creatively, and is passionate about enabling teams to make better decisions? This role would suit an experienced capacity planning professional who is ready to take the next step into inspirational leadership — someone who is comfortable both “doing the do” and leading others.

A bit about the job

The Resource Planning & Analytics team support Retail and Partnerships by providing the insight, forecasting and analysis that help Customer Operations make informed decisions.

In this role, you’ll lead a small team of Capacity Planners in Retail Operations, ensuring we deliver accurate long‑term demand and supply forecasts, maintain high‑quality planning data, and provide clear, creative reporting across the business. You’ll collaborate closely with Trading, Scheduling, Change, Insight Leads and the wider Customer Operations system to translate complex information into meaningful recommendations that drive performance and support strategic goals.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in capacity planning, analysis and working with large data sets, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Proven leadership skills — able to coach, inspire and develop a high‑performing team.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and influence at all levels.
  • High proficiency in Excel, with the ability to automate or improve reporting; experience with Qlik is beneficial.
  • Creative problem‑solving mindset, excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
