A bit about the job

You’ll lead a portfolio of complex and high‑value international property claims for AIL and AIIDAC UK Branch. You’ll help us deliver our claims philosophy and high technical standards across the Major and Complex Claims  team. You’ll support colleagues by acting as a referral point, offering guidance, and sharing good practice. You’ll strengthen relationships with our key partners and look for ways to improve how we work. You’ll make sure we deliver accurate decisions and great outcomes for our customers.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Strong experience managing complex and high‑value commercial claims
• Deep knowledge of legislation, fraud indicators and claims best practice.
• Ability to manage, lead and coach colleagues, share insights and support technical development.
• Confident in engaging with underwriters, actuaries, clients, brokers, and third‑party experts.
• Skilled at identifying risk, ensuring governance, and delivering consistent quality.

• Starting salary between circa £70000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
