Customer Engagement & Future Propositions Consultant (Fixed term – 12 months) - Salary National between £32,000k-£42,000/London between £35,000k-£45,000 (DOE) 

Location: York/Bristol/Eastleigh/London/Norwich/Perth/Sheffield

This role is ideal for someone who’s curious, proactive, and passionate about improving customer outcomes. Whether you're experienced in customer engagement, product development, or looking to step up into a strategic role, this could be a great opportunity. It would particularly suit someone with a background in Life, Critical Illness, or Income Protection products, or someone who has worked in customer journey optimisation or proposition development. 

A bit about the job: 

This role exists to develop and improve Aviva’s Customer Engagement strategy for key Protection customer groups. You’ll help grow market share and enhance customer outcomes across Life, Critical Illness, and Income Protection products. As part of the Customer Engagement & Future Propositions team, you’ll collaborate across Aviva to identify gaps, generate ideas, and deliver improvements from initial customer interaction through to claim or cancellation. You’ll also support the development of future propositions and contribute to Aviva’s sustainability goals. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

• Experience in customer engagement, product development, or proposition management, ideally within financial services or insurance. 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps and prioritise improvements in customer journeys. 

• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. 

• Ability to translate customer insights into actionable strategies and deliverables. 

• Passion for improving customer understanding, decision-making, and overall experience.

• Salary National between £32,000k-£42,000/London between £35,000k-£45,000  (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
