Cybersecurity Supplier Assurance Specialist 

Salary: Circa £65,000 

Location: Norwich, Bristol or York

A bit about the job 

You’ll join our Third-party Hyper Care team—part of Aviva’s Cyber Security function—to help protect our critical supplier landscape.  

Your work will help make sure our suppliers continue to meet Aviva’s cybersecurity standards, close risk gaps, and keep our organisation resilient. 

You’ll support escalations, analyse security MI, guide teams through supplier related risk decisions, and build strong relationships across Technology, Cyber, Procurement and external partners.  

Everything you do will contribute directly to strengthening Aviva’s cyber posture and operational resilience.  

Skills and experience we’re looking for 

• A naturally curious, improvement driven mindset, with the confidence to challenge and a desire to keep learning. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, confident supporting non technical audiences. 

• Experience in Cyber Security, IT, Technology Risk or Supplier/Vendor Management, ideally in a complex or regulated environment.  

• Ability to understand and clearly articulate securityCyber related risks, translating technical findings into actionable insight.  

• Comfortable working with governance, risk and control frameworks and information security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST etc or cyber assurance standards.
