A bit about the job:

You’ll be part of the Customer and Marketing team, supporting the delivery of best practice in data governance, privacy, and data management. Your role will help ensure compliance with Group Data Privacy and Governance Standards, while also promoting a culture that values data as a strategic asset. You’ll work closely with Data Product Owners and Delivery teams to remove barriers and drive success. From supporting new projects to providing senior stakeholder assurance, you’ll be a key player in embedding strong data practices.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in data governance, privacy, or information management roles
  • Knowledge of UK and European data protection laws (e.g. GDPR, DUAA, PECR)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to translate complex data issues into clear, actionable advice
  • A curious mindset and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to risk

  • Starting salary between: Bristol or York: circa £65k / London: circa £75k (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
