A bit about the job:

You’ll be joining the UK IWR Data Governance and Privacy team, part of the COO Performance, Governance and Reporting function. The team supports data governance, privacy, subject rights, records management and more. This role is key to ensuring our use of data products and associated technologies (like Snowflake, Collibra and Immuta) is well governed and aligned with regulatory standards. You’ll work closely with our analytics colleagues and play an integral part in designing out the control environment around data product use. You’ll also help oversee our outsourced data governance team, ensuring high-quality service and driving operational efficiencies.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of data governance, management and protection principles
  • Effective communicator with a detail-oriented and delivery-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Familiarity with data platforms/tools (e.g. Snowflake, Data Lakes, Collibra, Immuta)
  • Experience managing or overseeing outsourced relationships
