A bit about the job:
We’re looking for a Deputy Financial Controller to join our APUK Finance Controlling team. You’ll help keep our finance operations running smoothly while we integrate APUK’s processes into Aviva. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll support business-as-usual activities and contribute to exciting change projects. You’ll be part of a team that values accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement. Your work will help us deliver strong financial controls and a seamless transition.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting processes
- Confident working with reconciliations and resolving financial issues
- Experience supporting audits and working in a regulated environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
