Equity Release Performance Lead – Salary £75,000-£90,000

York, Sheffield, Norwich

This is a great role for someone who thrives on influencing commercial strategy and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping business performance. You'll enjoy turning complex financial and trading data into actionable insights, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive profitability, optimise business activity and support strategic decision-making.

A bit about the job:

This role exists to drive forward the commercial performance of the business and ensure ER achieves or exceeds its targets in line with its strategy.

The role will work within a strong team to support the MD Equity Release, Head of Retirement Distribution and Head of ER Trading, making recommendations to optimise the commercial performance of the business, in particular for our Direct channel, and implementing effective tools to track performance.

The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor across the business, providing commercial oversight, identifying growth opportunities and helping to steer activity towards those that deliver the greatest value. It's ideal for someone who is naturally curious, commercially astute and motivated by understanding the key drivers of performance across distribution channels, customer segments and propositions. If you enjoy collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, challenging thinking, driving strategic initiatives and staying ahead of market trends to influence business outcomes, this role will provide significant visibility and impact.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance.
  • Forward-thinking and solution-focused, taking ownership of challenges and driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to challenge, engage and guide senior stakeholders to informed decisions.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the energy and passion to deliver improved commercial outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capability, turning complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
