A bit about the job

You’ll lead our Commercial Motor Claims Customer function and guide the full journey from first notification through to settlement. You’ll help us deliver brilliant customer outcomes and strengthen our market‑leading indemnity position. You’ll work closely with our broker network, building relationships that are both strong and trusted.

You’ll join a supportive and collaborative Claims leadership team that values insight, innovation and clear operational direction. A key part of this role is working closely with Underwriting, Pricing and Distribution to ensure strong alignment across the end‑to‑end motor business. You’ll play a central role in shaping how we use digital capability, analytics and partnerships to transform our service.

You’ll be accountable for operational performance, strategic delivery and coaching a high‑performing team to achieve their best. Strengthening relationships with brokers and external partners will also be essential to enhancing our service, improving outcomes and supporting sustainable commercial growth.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong senior-level expertise in motor insurance and claims management within a regulated financial services environment.
• Proven leadership of large, complex customer operations delivering strong customer and commercial outcomes.
• Experience leading teams through major organisational or digital transformation.
• Ability to drive operational excellence, manage risk and ensure compliance with FCA requirements.
• Skilled at building positive relationships with senior stakeholders across Underwriting, Pricing, Distribution and Claims, as well as managing and developing strong broker relationships.
