Likes bringing structure and clarity to complex environments, especially during periods of change. You enjoy deep technical work, but you also care about delivering effective insight into the business. This role suits someone who can lead expert teams through integration, collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and build a culture of strong performance insight that stands up to challenge.
A bit about the job:
Understanding loss ratio performance is critical to driving business performance. This role exists to deliver, strengthen and align how we manage performance and projections across our Home and Specialty portfolios. You will drive performance insight during a period of integration and beyond, ensuring models, outputs and ways of working are consistent, robust and fit for purpose. You’ll work closely with channel teams, underwriting, analytics, finance, risk and claims teams to bring together different data, tools and perspectives. You will be accountable for developing market-leading technical and projection models and ensuring technical insight feeds into pricing, forecasting, reinsurance and performance decisions. You’ll also lead and develop a specialist team through change, building confidence, capability and clear ownership of outcomes.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong technical experience in pricing, portfolio performance, projections or risk modelling.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical teams through change or integration.
- Experience developing and embedding performance or projection models into business processes.
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and explaining complex outputs clearly.
- Experience in insurance, financial services or a similarly technical, regulated environment (UK Personal Lines experience is helpful, but not essential).
