A bit about the job
We are looking for an experienced Head of Integration Management Office to join Aviva's Direct Line Integration programme and play a pivotal leadership role in one of the organisation's most significant transformation programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in complex transformation environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity and confidence to large-scale programmes.
You'll lead portfolio-wide planning, assurance, dependency management, governance and executive reporting, creating a single, credible view of delivery confidence across the programme. Working closely with senior leaders across Aviva and Direct Line, you'll identify emerging risks, constraints and opportunities and ensure the right interventions are in place to protect strategic, regulatory and business outcomes.
While delivery accountability remains with programme and workstream leads, you'll provide the independent oversight, constructive challenge and assurance needed to support effective decision-making and successful execution.
Skills and experience we're looking for
Significant experience leading portfolio management, PMO, integrated planning, governance or assurance functions within large and complex transformation programmes.
Proven experience managing portfolios comprising multiple interdependent programmes, with strong expertise in critical path planning, dependency management and delivery assurance.
Strong track record of establishing and improving portfolio governance frameworks, reporting and assurance activities to drive delivery confidence and performance.
Experience producing clear, insightful reporting for executive, Board and shareholder audiences, ideally within a highly regulated environment such as financial services.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills, with the confidence and credibility to provide constructive challenge to senior leaders.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, bring structure to complex environments and identify risks, constraints and opportunities before they impact delivery.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate complex portfolio information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Experience working across large-scale business change, integration or transformation programmes would be highly advantageous.
