A bit about the job:

As Head of Propositions, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role where you'll define and deliver the strategic roadmap for Aviva’s Health propositions across Individual, SME, and Corporate segments. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, steering the development of products that respond to shifting customer needs, regulatory changes, and emerging health trends.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team spanning insight, innovation, product development, customer communications, and governance. Your work will ensure our offerings are not only competitive and compliant but truly resonate with our customers.

The role holder will also be the owner of Aviva Health’s strategy. You’ll be responsible for setting, reviewing and updating our strategy, ensuring our vision evolves with the macro-environment and continues to deliver value. You will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary virtual strategy team and facilitating strategic dialogue with the Health Senior Leadership Team.

  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in leading Product and Proposition development within Financial Services.

  • Inspirational Leadership: Strong people management skills with a focus on development, inclusion, and collaboration.

  • Influence & Impact: Exceptional stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge and inspire.

  • Risk & Regulatory Acumen: Deep understanding of internal and external risk factors, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Starting salary of circa100k (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
