Aviva is looking for a Head of Transformation Partnering (Customer and Marketing) to lead and oversee change initiatives across its Customer and Marketing portfolio. The role will work closely with Executive and Operational Sponsors to ensure programmes are set up, executed, and delivered successfully. It involves developing reusable tools, processes, and standards to drive consistency, while leading a small team of Transformation Partnering Leads. This is a key opportunity to make a tangible impact on Aviva’s ability to deliver change effectively.
A bit about the job:
The Head of Transformation Partnering Customer and Marketing will oversee initiatives within the Customer and Marketing portfolio, ensuring that change is delivered effectively and programme outcomes are successfully achieved. Reporting to the Customer and Marketing Transformation Director, this role will uphold high standards of change management and reporting across the portfolio, ensuring best practices and lessons learned are consistently shared and applied. The role will work closely with Executive and Operational Sponsors throughout programme lifecycles, ensuring that all aspects of programme set-up, mobilisation, and execution are thoroughly planned and executed. This includes outcome definition, business casing, supplier contracting and performance, business readiness, operating model changes, communication, and other functional impacts.
The Head of Transformation Partnering will also develop reusable processes, materials, and tools to improve standards and drive consistency across programmes. Leading a team of 3-4 Transformation Partnering Leads, this role will prioritise support for the highest-priority initiatives while ensuring proportionate support across the wider portfolio.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience managing multi-year, complex programmes, delivering on time and within budget, while balancing day-to-day priorities with long-term strategic objectives
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including reporting key messages and updates in senior forums, and effectively partnering with third-party suppliers on contracting, delivery, and performance management
- Technical knowledge of platforms, particularly in data, digital, and marketing, with an understanding of broader enterprise systems
- Ability to navigate complexity, identify critical paths, assess options, and make timely decisions, knowing when to escalate or adjust course
- Experience implementing structured change management approaches and best practices to drive consistent, high-quality programme delivery

- London salary £100,000 - £140,000 and National salary £90,000 - £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
