Are you an experienced Supplier Manager looking to join one of the most engaging and rapidly growing teams at Aviva?
This is a great job for someone with a strong background in managing supplier relationships, contracts and performance for critical suppliers – ideally in a regulated environment like Financial Services.
You’ll be part of a team that’s passionate about delivering value through effective supplier relationships, third-party risk management and robust oversight.
This involves managing contracts and overall relationships with suppliers to mitigate risks, enhance supplier performance, ensure contractual governance, and maximise commercial and business value.

A bit about the job:
You’ll manage critical suppliers in line with Industry best practices and defined Aviva policies and standards.
You’ll apply appropriate commercial, contractual, and supplier relationship management skills, tools, and techniques to ensure supplier relationships meet and exceed contractual obligations.
You will drive performance by effectively utilising contractual levers, mitigating risks, while working collaboratively with IT.
You will ensure compliance with contractual obligations while identifying and capitalising on additional opportunities.
You will lead negotiations, including drafting contract amendments and creating or approving work orders.
You will work closely with procurement and legal colleagues to manage contract lifecycles, disputes, breaches and exits.
It’s a role where you’ll be trusted to take ownership and drive results.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong experience managing complex supplier relationships and critical agreements in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services
Negotiation skills, being able to demonstrate experience of supporting, leading and managing negotiations, including dispute resolution
Great at building relationships – building strong internal business and supplier relationships at all levels
Comfortable working with IT teams and understanding their needs
A customer-first mindset – You will always have our customers in mind when making decisions. You encourage others to do the same

Salary Circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
