A bit about the job
You’ll join our central IT Supplier Management team, working at the heart of Aviva’s technology operations. Our team ensures that our strategic IT partners deliver resilient, secure, and high‑performing services that underpin Aviva’s key platforms and business operations.
In this role, you’ll manage the performance and service delivery of a major IT supplier, ensuring adherence to ITIL practices, SLAs, service quality metrics, and risk controls. You’ll work closely with Service Owners, Technical Leads, Architecture, Cyber Security, and Operational Support teams to ensure services are stable, reliable, and continuously improved. You’ll also help influence and shape improvements across our wider supplier ecosystem.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
- Strong experience in IT Service Management, ITIL frameworks, and managing technical service performance with external suppliers.
- Good understanding of IT risk, compliance, and control frameworks, including how they apply to outsourced IT services.
- Solid knowledge of contract and service-level governance, including SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, and service performance reporting.
- Ability to work with technical teams to understand service issues, assess root causes, and drive supplier-led improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical, operational, and commercial teams.

Starting salary £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
