We’re looking for a curious, creative person with a love for media and brands…could that be you?

We need parental leave cover for a Media Campaign Manager in our busy Campaigns Team. In this role, you’ll be reporting into our Campaign Lead whilst delivering high profile, multi-channel brand advertising campaigns working with our media and creative agencies.

As part of the Campaigns team, you’ll know the difference between brand and marketing and be a specialist in brand building & media planning. You’ll be a multi-tasking and solutions-oriented whizz, ensuring our media campaigns are on brief, targeting the right segments and ladder up to our brand strategy.

You will be a people person and are good at building strong relationships with external agencies and our wider UK marketing colleagues and other influential peers. You will be working closely with our media agency to build effective and impactful media plans that bring our brand campaigns to life, ensuring that they are impactful, innovative, sustainable and measurable. Key channels include TV, broadcaster/subscription video-on-demand, online video, radio, digital audio, press, partnerships, out of home etc.

A bit about the job:

We’re looking for a strategic and innovative media expert to lead Aviva’s brand advertising media strategy and measurement framework. In this role, you’ll work closely with our media agency to develop impactful media plans that optimise creative, reach target audiences, and drive campaign performance.

You’ll champion media innovation by identifying and testing new opportunities across the media landscape, while ensuring our approach remains sustainable and environmentally conscious. Collaboration is key—you’ll partner with stakeholders across UK marketing, insights, brand governance, compliance, legal, and finance. You’ll also be responsible for post-campaign analysis, reporting on media effectiveness, and managing budgets and timing plans to ensure seamless execution.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • A background in media strategy and planning – agency or client side

  • An understanding of customer targeting, media consumption, and building brands

  • Ability to develop a test and learn approach for paid media to drive performance and learnings

  • Experience with media effectiveness and measurement with an ability to apply turn data into actionable insights, and confident in delivering results and learnings to stakeholders

  • Good influencing and communication skills alongside strong stakeholder management experience

  • Salary: London circa £55,000-£60,000/National circa £45,000-£50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
