A bit about the job:
You’ll be part of the Infrastructure Team in Risk Analytics Insight and Data (RAID), supporting the core platforms that power our data science and analytics work. Your work will help deliver insights and tools to teams across Risk and Financial Crime at Aviva.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues in Delivery and Run teams, and work closely with stakeholders across Financial Crime, Climate, IT, and Risk.
You’ll help expand our platform to support more users, richer data, and deeper analysis. You’ll also play a key role in optimising and automating existing solutions, supporting migrations, and rolling out new tools across the business.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong programming skills – Python is a must, and experience with other languages and technologies is a bonus.
A solid grasp of modern development practices, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
A team player who enjoys working through challenges with others – and having fun along the way.
A degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field is preferred.

Salary: National: Circa £35000, London: Circa £45000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
