ML Engineering Analyst - Grade C

We’re looking for someone who’s curious, collaborative, and ready to take the next step in their data career. This role would suit someone with experience in programming and data engineering, and a passion for building tools that make a difference.

A bit about the job:

You’ll join the Infrastructure Team within Risk Analytics Insight and Data (RAID), supporting the core infrastructure that powers our data science and analytics work. Your role will help us deliver insights and tools to Risk and Financial Crime teams across Aviva. You’ll work closely with our Delivery and Run teams, as well as our key stakeholders across Financial Crime, Climate, IT and Risk teams across Aviva Group, to support and expand our platform, enabling more users, richer data, and deeper analysis. You’ll also help optimise and automate existing solutions, support migrations, and roll out new tools across the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Creative thinker/problem solver with knowledge of applying modelling techniques to complex problems.

  • Programming experience covering multiple languages and technologies preferred. Good knowledge of Python is required.

  • Well-versed in modern development practices, you take pride in in your work and delivery quality outputs at every step of a project.

  • You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, working through challenges with colleagues whilst having fun along the way.

  • Degree/MSc/PhD in either Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning or similar preferred.
