We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our Dublin office as a Pricing Innovation & AI Manager on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is integral to maintaining our position as the market leader in Personal Lines Insurance pricing, and it adheres to Aviva's hybrid working policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build Machine Learning White Box models for Motor and Home Insurance

  • Create innovative new rating factors to be the first of their kind in Irish or UK Insurance

  • Develop new ways to use vehicle images in Insurance using AI Neural Networks to predict claims costs from images of crashed vehicles

  • Tailor the rating approach to autonomous vehicles and electric cars

  • Develop new automated optimisers to optimise profit in fair ways

  • Streamline feature engineering scripts to produce rating factors aiming for efficiency and simplicity

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in mathematical or quantitative area

  • Expert in Machine Learning techniques is desirable

  • Expert in Personal Lines Pricing is desirable

  • Good command of SQL programming

  • Be a change agent to overcome cultural resistance to working in more efficient ways

  • Able to develop a business case to secure programme funding and resources

  • Able to present successes to key stakeholders
