Product Owner - Syndicate systems – Salary circa £70,000

We are looking for a Product Owner to support our syndicate underwriting systems. If you have excellent stakeholder management skills and Lloyd’s of London experience, this could be the perfect role for you!

A bit about the job:

You will sit in the GCS (Global, Corporate & Specialty) Transformation and Change team and will work closely with other Product owners to put the right processes and governance in place.

You will be responsible for understanding customers and their needs in the business, translating business needs into actionable requirements for the respective products. You drive continuous improvement by analysing product performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), gathering feedback, and advocating for enhancements that benefit both the business and its partners.
You will act as a mediator between consumers and the technical teams, communicating consumer needs and translating them into new product features for the team to design.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of day‑to‑day operational support for Lloyd’s Insurance London Market policy and claims administration systems.
  • Product Ownership: Demonstrated experience in product ownership, including system change management and working closely with technical and business teams.
  • Business Knowledge: Solid grasp of London Market insurance processes, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Systems Support: Ability to support and oversee relevant systems, ensuring stability, enhancements, and user adoption.

  • Salary circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
