Programme Manager – Salary c. £75,000

A bit about the job:

This role exists to lead a project management team responsible for planning and delivering a portfolio of allocated projects that support Aviva’s wider strategic objectives. You’ll oversee overall project execution, ensuring alignment with budgets, plans, governance frameworks and regulatory expectations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to define objectives and deliverables, negotiate commercial terms where required, and provide regular reporting to senior leaders. You will also guide, support and develop your team to ensure strong performance, capability growth, and successful delivery outcomes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong project management expertise, including developing project plans, setting budgets and monitoring performance against cost baselines.
• Experience leading a team, including performance management, coaching, development, and resource planning.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, define project objectives and deliverables, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Proven experience identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks and issues across complex initiatives.
• Ability to interpret industry trends and provide strategic recommendations to support continuous improvement and good customer outcomes.

• Starting salary c. £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
