We’re looking for a Regulatory Engagement Manager to take the lead on regulatory interactions for our business in Ireland. This is a high-impact role where you’ll play a central part in aligning our regulatory relationships with our strategic ambitions.

As the face of Aviva Ireland to our regulators, you’ll build trust and confidence in our direction and performance. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach to engagement across the Group. You’ll also collaborate with internal stakeholders, senior leaders, and external advisors to drive positive regulatory outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison with regulators, representing Aviva Ireland and building strong, constructive relationships.
  • Work with the wider Regulatory Affairs team to ensure a unified and strategic approach to regulatory engagement.
  • Support the development and execution of the regulatory engagement strategy for Ireland
  • Coordinate the delivery of regulatory actions, ensuring timely, effective, and well-managed responses.
  • Deliver insightful, high-quality reporting and management information to senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in regulation engagement in financial services at a minimum, experience in insurance is preferable.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory agenda and processes as well as emerging regulatory developments.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage an ambiguous agenda in a changing environment, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be self-directing.
  • Ability to identify, assess, control, and monitor risks faced by the business.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.

Fitness and Probity

This is a Regulated Role and will be subject to enhanced pre-employment screening procedures. There will be an on-going requirement for the role holder to maintain fit and proper status.
