A bit about the job
We’re delivering Vision, a key part of Aviva’s Finance Transformation. Its aim is simple: make our finance processes easier, more streamlined, and fit for the future.
In this role, you’ll lead a workstream focused on reducing manual processes across actuarial and finance reporting. You’ll work closely with Finance, Actuarial and Technology teams to understand what we do today, why we do it, and what it could look like tomorrow.
You’ll coordinate delivery across the team, while also rolling up your sleeves to solve problems. You’ll be accountable for progress, clarity, and outcomes that make reporting more reliable and less manual.
A bit about the job:
Lead a Finance Transformation workstream that simplifies and improves actuarial and finance reporting processes
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, gathering information, shaping solutions and joining the dots across teams
Use your finance knowledge to understand processes at a high level, including why key calculations exist and where risk or inefficiency sits
Track progress using clear MI, highlighting risks, dependencies and benefits
Prepare updates and presentations, confidently sharing progress and decisions with senior leaders
Delegate work across a small analyst team, supporting delivery without line management responsibility
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience working in Finance, with exposure to reporting or quarter‑end processes and a good understanding of how finance data is used
Enough technical understanding to engage confidently with finance and actuarial teams, including why key calculations exist, without needing to perform them yourself
Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders, bringing together information and shaping practical solutions across teams
Experience coordinating delivery in a complex environment, balancing planning, prioritisation and hands‑on problem‑solving
Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting progress and recommendations to senior leaders
