Senior Regulatory Engagement Manager – General Insurance

Salary circa £100,000

We have an exciting opportunity to join Aviva’s Risk Function as a Senior Regulatory Engagement Manager, with a focus on the UK General Insurance (UKGI) business. If you have a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across teams and support a positive, high-performing team environment, we would love to hear from you!

A bit about the job:

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and shaping engagement with UK regulators (PRA and FCA), acting as a trusted advisor to the UKGI ExCo, Board and senior leaders. You will take ownership of the coordination and delivery of high-quality, timely responses to regulatory requests, helping to ensure that Aviva maintains the confidence of its supervisors through clear, transparent and proactive engagement.

To support preparation for regulatory interactions, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across UKGI, providing insights on supervisory priorities, expectations and emerging themes. You will also use these insights to contribute to internal reporting, supporting wider understanding and awareness of regulatory themes.

More broadly, you will have the opportunity to connect with counterparts across the Group to share best practice in regulatory engagement and enhance visibility of cross-cutting regulatory priorities.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in the General Insurance sector, with a good understanding of products and wider market dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of the UK regulatory landscape, including PRA and FCA supervisory priorities and approach.
  • Proven ability to manage competing high-impact priorities and deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and knowledge to engage credibly with senior business, risk and compliance stakeholders.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting senior-level briefings and ability to interpret regulatory expectations and translate these into clear, actionable insights for the business.

What you’ll get for this role:
