Secondment: 12 months
Location: UK flex
Closing date: 31st March 2026
This is a great job for someone who is passionate about social impact and wants to shape how Aviva delivers meaningful, measurable outcomes for customers and communities. You might have experience working in impact measurement, charity partnerships, ESG, community investment or social innovation—and you’re ready to step up and lead some of Aviva’s most strategic sustainability programmes. If you’re curious, collaborative and excited by work that combines data, storytelling, and stakeholder influence, this role will suit you perfectly.
A bit about the job:
Aviva’s Sustainability Function sits at the heart of our ambition to lead the UK financial services sector on climate action and build stronger, more resilient communities. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing our social impact agenda while providing seamless cover during maternity leave.
You’ll lead social impact measurement across Aviva’s Sustainability Ambition, run our quarterly reporting cycles, and continue to embed our refreshed social action goals. You’ll also be responsible for driving forward our strategic UK charity partnerships with Citizens Advice and the Money Advice Trust, ensuring they deliver measurable outcomes for communities and clear value for Aviva.
This is a highly collaborative role—working across the business, with our partners, and with senior stakeholders to maintain momentum on key programmes, strengthen governance, and enhance how we measure, communicate and act on social impact.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in social impact measurement, evaluation frameworks or outcome‑based reporting.
- Strong experience managing charity/corporate partnerships or community investment programmes.
- Ability to translate data and partner insight into compelling, commercially‑relevant recommendations.
- Experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder delivery across complex organisations.
- Excellent communication skills, able to tell a clear, confident story about social impact.
